Job Description

Quality Assurance Officers | 3 posts | 9541 | Secondment opportunity/temporary contract for two years | 37 hours per week | £43,822 to £48,227 per annum | Grade K | Norwich

An exciting opportunity has arisen for three new Quality Assurance Officers to join the refreshed Quality Assurance Team within Adult Social Services. These posts will be offered on a two-year secondment basis to support the department at a time of transformation, with the aim of supporting strengths-based practice improvement in Place and helping to drive up practice standards.

You will need to be highly motivated and able to demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to assessing and supporting improvement in the quality of social care practice across the department. Your own experience of delivering high quality social care practice or occupational therapy will be pivotal in improving the practice of others across the county. It is a challenging role requiring excellent assessment, planning and relationship building skills. You will also need extensive knowledge of current best practice in social care and of the Care Act 2014.

You will be involved in designing quality assurance frameworks, supporting operational managers with practice quality reviews, reporting on your findings and working with operational managers to develop action plans to deliver improvements. You will also need to be able to actively promote improvements to social care practice in Norfolk, including designing and delivering training courses where necessary.
