About The Role:

OCS Security is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to maintain and enhance our relationships with esteemed clients in multiple sectors including Public, Private, Construction, Retail and Sports venues.

The selected candidate must work collaboratively with team members, project engineers, project managers to deliver cutting edge solutions and interact with clients and other trades in a professional and tactful manner, thereby positively representing the Company.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Carry out high-quality Commissioning of Intruder, CCTV and Access Control systems in line with project specifications.
• Liaise with customers, project managers and the wider OCS team to ensure exceptional service and project outcomes.
• Provide on-site mentoring and leadership for Trainee Engineers.
• Handle technical queries and communicate any site deviations or challenges effectively.
• Complete all relevant documentation promptly after installation.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in security system installation (Intruder, CCTV, Access Control).
• Working knowledge of IP-based systems. Knowledge of the following an advantage:

Lenel, Hanwha, Hikvision, Paxton, SALTO, Texecom, Galaxy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• PC literate with good reporting and documentation practices.
• Strong team player and mentor, with the ability to lead and develop junior engineers.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and upholding our standards of excellence
