Mechanical Engineer - Utilities

Job Description:

To support in the management of the Mechanical maintenance department to ensure:
  • highest standards of H&S are continually followed
  • legislative compliance is fulfilled best practice maintenance techniques are utilized to provide highest possible asset availability

Specific Tasks: (this list is not exhaustive)
  • Maintenance Operations
  • Maintenance and Service of Equipment and locations in line with the Maintenance Area of Responsibility document
  • Supports Area Responsible in maintenance planning
  • Identifying spare parts requirements and technical specifications for maintenance work
  • Creation of MRF form for non-stock spare parts and materials
  • Support Area Responsible in daily activities, when required
  • Creation of Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) for repetitive work, when required
  • Creation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for maintenance work,
  • Reviewing and updating work instructions
  • Review and define Maximo master data content and coordinate data update projects within own responsibility area with Maximo admin
  • Create and follow Maximo data requests

  • Reliability
  • Facilitate, support and participate RCA investigations, when required
  • Responsible to implement actions from RCA at own responsible area
  • Support integration of a reliability centered maintenance program
  • Identify and Support development and improvement projects within responsibility area
  • Identify and Support improvement and Capex applications in Area of Responsibility
  • Support and cooperation of reliability issues with mill reliability specialist and development team within own responsible area
  • Identification of maintenance improvements and preparation of improvement projects
  • Review PM's and PM content improvements within own area
  • Legislative
  • Management, maintenance and execution of all Legislative requirements in Area of Responsibility
  • Transfer of all documents to relative Administration
