LOCATION: Pembrokeshire
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical and Electrical Team within the Building Maintenance Service Area. As a key member of the Building Maintenance Department, you will oversee and manage multiple schemes projects, ensuring the effective organisation, maintenance, statutory compliance and development of mechanical installations across the authority's portfolio.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to become part of our Building Maintenance Team at Pembrokeshire County Council. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a diverse operational team, including trade operatives, framework servicing, and mechanical contractors.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
A genuine passion for our organisation and its objectives.
A strong understanding of mechanical servicing, maintenance, and statutory compliance within social housing, education, and corporate assets.
A commitment to delivering high-quality maintenance, compliance, and repair services for all customers and clients.

The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, under the leadership of the Building Maintenance Service Operations Manager, alongside other Programme Managers. You will be responsible for delivering and managing a diverse range of schemes and projects from inception to completion.
