Are you passionate about raising standards, championing quality, and making a real impact in the logistics training world?
We're looking for a dynamic Quality Assurance (QA) Subject Matter Expert (SME) in transport compliance to play a pivotal role in driving exceptional training performance across our organisation.

As a key member of our Training Support Services Team, you will help deliver consistent, industry leading training, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure our Quality Management System (QMS) remains robust, reliable and future ready.
Why Join Logistics UK?

Joining us means being part of a forward-thinking organisation at the forefront of the logistics industry. You will have the chance to network with key players, develop your expertise, and influence one of the most critical sectors in the UK.

Logistics UK, formerly the Freight Transport Association is one of the biggest business groups in the UK, representing the entire industry with members from the road, rail, sea, and air industries, as well as the buyers of freight services such as retailers and manufacturers whose businesses depend on the efficient movement of goods.

An effective supply chain is vital to Keep Britain Trading, directly impacting over 7 million people employed in making, selling and moving the goods that affect everyone everywhere. With Brexit, technology and other disruptive forces driving changes in the way goods move across borders and through the supply chain, logistics has never been more important to UK PLC.

  • Leading on QA auditing, preparing accurate reports (including NCCI) and managing observations aligned to the QA audit plan.
  • Spotting trends and opportunities, sharing insights to help the Support Services Manager and wider team continuously improve.
  • Supporting course accreditation, re-approvals and ensuring our training products stay current, compliant and competitive.
  • Driving data-led success by ensuring our training programmes reach the right people and deliver real impact.
  • Living our values - Excellence, Dynamism, Togetherness and Reputation - in everything you do.

Requirements
  • Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance and training delivery, especially around training performance and product audit standards.
  • Strong understanding of ISO QMS, instructional design and effective adult learning.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and planning skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confidence working independently, prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of transport compliance legislation.
  • A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn and passion for delivering exceptional training.
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK.
