Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems within construction fit-out projects. This role involves ensuring that all mechanical components, such as HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection, meet industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.

Design and specify mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with project managers to determine mechanical system requirements.
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and coordinate installations.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during construction.
Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards.
Conduct energy efficiency assessments for mechanical systems.
Prepare and maintain documentation related to mechanical systems design and installation.

Skills

Ability to design and specify mechanical systems for interior fit-out projects.
Experience in evaluating mechanical systems' performance and efficiency.
Knowledge of construction methods and materials related to mechanical systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in design and documentation.

Minimum 5 years' of experience in mechanical design within the construction industry.
Proven track record of designing and overseeing mechanical systems in fit-out projects.
Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors for mechanical installations
