Position Tittle: Enterprise Content Management Specialist

Purpose: This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's content management systems, ensuring secure, accessible & compliant digital content management, and driving digital transformation through ECM technologies & best practices.
Job Summary: The incumbent is responsible for leading the guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), plans for improvements in development, deployment, and maintenance of the organization’s content management systems for company within the limits of organization’s established practices & policies, departmental objectives, and directions/guidelines from supervisor.
Key Tasks
Design, implement, and maintain ECM solutions
Responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions
Ensure the efficient management of digital content
Responsible for configuring and optimizing ECM platforms, managing content workflows & ensuring data integrity and security
Responsible for training, supporting users, performing regular system audits
Stay abreast of the latest ECM trends and technologies
Lead innovative ECM solutions to enhance the organization's information management capabilities
Develop and deploy document management systems
Implement records management tools and maintain collaboration tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Responsible for collecting business requirements, analyse workflows
Lead implementation of strategies for content management and information sharing
Configure and customize ECM platforms
Tailor ECM applications to client needs and ensure security & accessibility
Responsible for validating ECM Compliance with industry standards and regulations
Develop and maintain technical documentation
Create system architecture documents and develop data models
Responsible for writing user guides and training materials for ECM
Provide technical support and troubleshooting
Diagnose performance and functionality issues and resolve user experience problems respectively
Train and support end users
Conduct training sessions and assist users in adopting ECM solutions & best market practices
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration (IT) or related field
Work Experience
At least 5 years of working experience with enterprise content management systems, such as Microsoft SharePoint, OpenText, Documentum, or Alfresco
Certificates & Trainings
Certifications in ECM, such as AIIM's Certified Information Professional (CIP) or Microsoft's SharePoint certifications or equivalent
Skills
Strong understanding of ECM concepts, principles, and best practices
Familiarity with information governance, data privacy, and compliance regulations, such as GDPR or HIPAA
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with cloud-based ECM platforms, such as Box or Microsoft 365
