Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Piping Engineer to lead the execution of detailed fabrication and erection works for piping systems. The role involves managing teams, coordinating with multiple departments, and ensuring quality, safety, and schedule requirements are met at site.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute detailed piping fabrication and erection activities, including pipelines and pipe supports
• Assign and monitor the performance of piping teams, foremen, and supervisors
• Prepare test packs, method statements, and job safety analyses (JSAs)
• Oversee material segregation and ensure material availability for fabrication requirements
• Manage piping/pipeline fabrication from documentation to hydrotesting, painting, and loadout
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and work procedures
• Coordinate site execution activities with engineering, QC, and painting departments
• Allocate work based on project schedules and priorities
• Liaise between site and engineering office for deliverables and technical clarifications
• Monitor project progress to ensure optimal production while maintaining quality standards
• Support inspection and quality control activities
• Ensure sufficient manpower, equipment, plant, and consumables are available
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to subordinates, promoting teamwork and motivation
• Maintain good interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant piping experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Good knowledge of piping materials, fabrication methods, and site erection practices
• Strong understanding of HSE, quality procedures, and project specifications
• Proficient in English (written and spoken)
• Computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, and email communications
