EngineeringThe Engineering Manager is responsible for Engineering Team development and workload management of the SNC resources including Order Engineering Team (incl. Desing Engineers and Drafters), Calculation, Qualification, Actuation Engineering and the Application Developer.
Managing engineering projects from conception to start of manufacturing, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. Leading and mentoring a team of engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
Apart from this, Engineering Manager should be part of the development of the quality system within the Szekesfehervar Nuclear Center Engineering.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Allocation of work based on the qualification required by the tasks and capacity consideration.
- Planning and scheduling of single projects as well as the consolidation of global planning at the Nuclear Business Unit level. A major part is to indicate any engineering resources over- or under-absorption.
- Maintain KPIs like RDSL, PDSL, Adherence, Timesheets and Project hours
- Act as a team leader, providing guidance and support to engineers
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers
- Managing the Engineering Team:
- Organize, plan, and coordinate the team's activities: set and communicate collective and individual objectives
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members, identifying areas for improvement and professional development.
- Define and propose skills needs, draft job descriptions for the department, and participate in recruitment in collaboration with the HR department and SNC Manager.
- Participate in disciplinary procedures.
- Act in accordance with the Group's values, social legislation, and internal rules and procedures, and ensure their compliance with the team.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Master University degree in Mechanical engineering or similar
- 5+ years experience in team management
- Solid experience in large scale project management and New Product Development
- Independent and team-oriented way of working
- Excellent written and spoken English (min. language level B2)
- Willingness for regular intra-European travel
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- German and/or French as a second foreign language will be appreciated
