Position Title: Instrumentation & Control Supervisor
Location: Offshore (90%) / Onshore (10%) - Qatar
Working Schedule: 28 days on / 28 days off rotation
12 hours/day, 7 days/week
Estimated Start Date: May 2026
Contract Term: 36 months (with possibility of extension)
Job Description
The Instrumentation & Control Supervisor will coordinate offshore Brownfield, Shutdown, and Hook-up activities for the Instrument & Control discipline, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, integrity, and project objectives. The role requires collaboration with operations and contractors to drive efficient offshore execution and commissioning, delivering operational excellence during the offshore phase.
Key Accountabilities
- Adhere to all safety and quality protocols and regulations during offshore execution
- Coordinate and ensure successful Offshore Brownfield & Hook-up execution, including commissioning
- Supervise and control Contractor/Subcontractor activities for Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project documentation, and international standards
- Review constructability and technical compliance of deliverables provided by Engineering, Brownfield, and Hook-up teams
- Monitor and resolve technical problems, drifts, and dysfunctions during offshore execution
- Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors to ensure progress tracking, reporting, and compliance with rules and standards
- Supervise PTW meetings with operations and contractors, ensuring methods statements and JSAs are followed
- Report any discipline concerns not aligned with project rules to line management
- Promote and improve safety culture offshore, including on Marine Units (JUB, Work Boat)
- Participate in review exercises and Lessons Learned initiatives
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Minimum: High National Diploma
Experience
- Minimum 8 years in large construction-related projects (construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up) within the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience in offshore facilities, sour gas, and LNG production execution
Technical & Business Skills
- Knowledge of design standards, specifications, and codes related to offshore fabrication, transport, installation, Brownfield execution, and commissioning
- Understanding of offshore operations and structures applicable to the project scope
- Experience working in large-scale operating organisations in Operations, Projects, or Subsurface
- Ability to manage EPC Contractors and subcontractors offshore, ensuring compliance, safety, and project objectives
