Develops and ensures implementation of Manufacturing activities on a given project, in accordance with Industry and Company Standards, Project Execution Plan and Project Installation Procedures.
Job Description
• Support in welding hours calculations and capability / capacity reviews; welding activities and technical support mainly.
• Assist in improvement projects in weldshop as manufacturing engineer support, mainly; also support other team members as and when required.
• Review and interpret customer/industrial specifications.
• Provide technical recommendation to design engineering team at design review stage.
• Participate in department discussions relating to technical issues and lessons learnt
• Shows commitment to QHSE through participation in safety and quality initiatives
• Understand the workflow for the control of machining documentation and issuance of machining procedures fora project
• Ensure DFX is performed.
• Involve in audits preparation (Adherence to codes & specs).
• Support tenders and product engineering quotation activities.
• Attend daily meetings on Notification Review Board (NRB), Obeya etc.
You are meant for this job if:
A. Bachelor's degree in material science / mechanical / manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
B. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: None.
Candidate should be keen in learning new things, cooperative and with positive attitude.
