This Position reports to:
Automation Engineering - Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will complete the tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting data and supporting production of the engineering design.

You will be working as Automation Engineer and will be part of B&R - ABB Group Company. In this role you will be reporting to Manager - Automation and will be responsible all developments, related to machine automation and robotics. carried out at region or shared with national team with successful completion of project, coordinate with customers for timeline, update progress of each activity with concern sales and reporting manager. Resolve issues and dissatisfaction at customer locations reported by manager or customer.

This position is also suitable for graduates who are interested in the field of automation and want to gain experience challenging projects.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Automation engineering team of Northern region of B&R in ABB Group company.

You will be mainly accountable to:

• As an "Application/Automation Engineer" you will develop software solutions for machine automation with varied tasks, such as:
• Concept creation and requirements engineering for intelligent machine automation
• Software development with our engineering tool "Automation Studio"
• Automation and testing of our latest product developments and technologies
• Commissioning at our customers' sites
• Support and assistance with technical issues
• Planning and monitoring application development status for each assigned task
• Keeping the communication channel active with the stake holders until the completion of application
• Maintaining and protecting B&R / customer IP

Qualifications for the role

• Full time in BE Mechatronics/ EE/Electronics & Communication
• Candidate Must have experience in PLC.
• Worked on Inputs and Outputs/ HMI/SCADA/VFD/Servo drives.
• Candidate is open to travel. Candidate must have experience in Installation and commissioning , troubleshooting of products.
• We are looking for 0-3 years of experience
