We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Engineering Team in London. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical design experience who wants to work on high-profile UPS and Generator projects across the UK and Europe.

Main Responsibilities

• Produce mechanical designs for UPS and Generator systems.
• Provide technical support to Sales during pre-contract phases.
• Own mechanical package design from handover to completion.
• Develop design documentation including drawings, data sheets, calculations.
• Support Project Managers with documentation and testing procedures.
• Attend client, supplier and witness test meetings.
• Lead technical studies on mechanical systems.

Requirements

Essential:

• Mechanical Engineering degree or: equivalent.
• 3-5 years' experience in Mechanical Design.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD and Revit skills.
• Willingness to travel for testing.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desired:

• Knowledge of fluid systems, ventilation, CDM, materials.
• Understanding of electrical distribution and control systems.
