Are you an expert in food safety and quality management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for a strong food safety culture? Then the role of Quality Assurance Manager at Collins Foods Europe is your next step. In this key position, you are responsible for the entire Quality Assurance & Food Safety Management System for all KFC restaurants in the Netherlands (97 locations, including non-Collins Foods restaurants). You work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, KFC Europe, and external stakeholders to ensure and continuously improve our high-quality standards.

What will you do?

You ensure full compliance with Dutch and European laws and regulations, such as NVWA guidelines, HACCP, and EU regulations. You implement and improve KFC's global quality and food safety standards.

Additionally:

• You manage, plan, and conduct internal and external audits, including restaurant inspections, distribution audits, and third-party audits, and act as the primary contact for regulatory authorities such as the NVWA.

• You lead root cause analyses and develop corrective actions in incidents related to food safety or quality.

• You work closely with Operations and our franchisees to ensure a strong food safety culture and provide advice on restaurant design and renovations related to food safety.

• You develop and deliver QA training for colleagues and provide advice on new products, shelf life, and nutritional information.

• You support KFC Europe in supplier management, quality monitoring, and improvement programs, and monitor product quality and traceability within the supply chain.

• You identify risks, monitor pest control programs, investigate complaints and incidents, and use data and trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Wat breng je mee?

• Een relevante bacheloropleiding zoals Food Science, Microbiologie of Quality Management.

• Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring binnen QA of voedselveiligheid, bij voorkeur in QSR, FMCG of food Ervaring met HACCP en andere voedselveiligheidssystemen.
• Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal

• Sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden en ervaring met audits.

• Uitstekende communicatie- en stakeholdermanagementcapaciteiten.

• Hoge mate van integriteit en verantwoordelijkheid.

• Praktisch ingesteld, nauwkeurig en gericht op continue verbetering en zichtbaarheid in de operatie.
