As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing high‑voltage infrastructure that supports grid reliability, network growth, and the transition to renewable energy.

About the Opportunity

As a Senior Electrical Engineer in our Power Engineering team, you will:

• Lead the design and delivery of HV/LV electrical systems for substations
• Produce and review detailed design packages, drawings, and technical documentation
• Prepare calculations, specifications, and design reports
• Provide technical leadership to junior engineers and designers
• Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and electrical standards
• Collaborate closely with protection, civil, and structural engineering teams
• Engage with clients, utilities, and contractors to ensure high‑quality outcomes
• Support project scoping, estimates, and proposal development

About You

You are an experienced electrical engineer with a passion for high‑quality design and a solid understanding of substation systems.

You will bring:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong experience in HV/MV/LV substation design
• Proficiency with industry design tools and standards
• Experience in utility, transmission, or large infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• A commitment to safety, quality, and engineering excellence
• Chartership (CPEng) is highly regarded, or you're actively working toward it.
