EngineeringIn what structure will you be working as a Project Engineer?
We are looking for a Project Engineer based in the Lyon region for one of our clients, a leading player in the field of engineering and industrial installations.
Project Engineer: What will your duties and responsibilities be?
Reporting to the Project Manager and liaising directly with the design, production and site teams, you will be the technical leader of the project, from order placement to the lifting of acceptance reservations.
You will be responsible for the overall technical consistency of the project and compliance with contractual, regulatory and normative requirements, in accordance with the defined milestones.
Your duties will include:
Drafting, verifying and validating technical and regulatory documentation,
Managing and coordinating design service providers (regulatory, safety, ATEX, CE, calculations, etc.),
Analysing, verifying and validating external technical documentation (suppliers, subcontractors),
Coordinating and supervising designers in drawing up equipment and installation plans,
Ensuring the technical consistency of studies (PID, layout, interfaces),
Compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, particularly those related to ESP, ATEX and CE,
Resolution of design and calculation issues, with the support of technical experts,
Technical support for manufacturing workshops and site teams,
Participation in technical risk management and the removal of reservations during the construction phase.
Contribution to compliance with the project's Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) requirements.
What profile and skills are required for this Project Engineer position?
You have at least 2 years' experience in the process industry, in a Project Engineer or equivalent position.
You have a general engineering degree with a focus on mechanics (or equivalent), specialising in design and industrial engineering.
Knowledge of industrial installations and welded assemblies, as well as experience in environments such as industrial construction, aerodynamics, rotating machinery or process units, are real assets.
With a solid technical background and a critical mind, you have a grounding in mechanical calculations that enables you to justify the technical solutions proposed.
You are independent and rigorous, with good organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all project stakeholders (design, production, construction, suppliers and customers).
