Are you a cybersecurity professional looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and fast ‑ developing business? We invite you to join our team as a Product Security Engineer within the Emerson Roxar organization and play a key role in shaping the future of secure product development and cybersecurity excellence.

Based in our Stavanger or Bergen offices, you will coordinate and promote product security activities across diverse product families.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Coordinate and manage Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) implementation across product families.
  • Participate in New Product Development processes, including cybersecurity audits and assessments.
  • Represent cybersecurity in development projects and collaborate with product owners to assess product risks.
  • Lead and organize Risk Assessments and Threat Modeling activities.
  • Drive cross ‑ functional initiatives that promote secure development and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Maintain documentation, artifacts, and communication repositories for the Product Security function.
  • Identify training needs and support product security ‑ related learning across teams.
  • Support Product Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Management activities.

You demonstrate strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills, and you are able to work independently within tight timelines, showing initiative and self‑motivation.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant cybersecurity ‑ related experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with cybersecurity standards or secure development practices.
  • Understanding of secure ‑ by ‑ design principles and 'defense in depth.'
  • Familiarity with Secure Development Lifecycle processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for communication and documentation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5%; fluency in English.


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Matrix organization experience in international, ideally oil and gas industry environment
  • Experience with risk management frameworks and standards (IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, NIST).
  • Background in software development, systems engineering, or requirements management.
  • Experience with network management or communication protocols.
  • Experience with project management or complex development environments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity issues in control systems or industrial products.
