Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer
Our client is a hydrogen and industrial gas expert, delivering safe, end-to-end solutions, investing in real, clean energy projects at scale, and driving the industry forward to generate a cleaner future. They are Looking to hire a Electrical Engineer on a permeant basis based in Surrey.

What you'll be doing

• Provide electrical project leadership, working with the plant project organisation and business areas to develop clearly defined technical scopes and execution strategies for a range of operations projects in Air Separation, HYCO and Generated Gases
• Identify and prioritise the key electrical deliverables for the above projects, ensuring achievable timescales and estimates are defined
• Work closely with the various technical disciplines: Controls, machinery, process safety etc, to ensure accurate transfer of information and to manage technical changes during the design process
• Collaborate with local plant operations and business areas to identify strategies for executing modifications whilst maintaining business continuity
• Participate in the electrical safety evaluations for plant modifications
• Provide senior technical support for Operational Readiness Inspections (ORI), commissioning, startup and performance testing

What we're looking for

• A high level of technical expertise ideally suited to someone with a electrical engineering or related degree
• Experience working in an operations environment with onsite plant experience and a practical ‘hands-on' approach.
• The ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a technical team.
• Ability to travel on an occasional basis to support site/project activities
