Electrical Engineering Intern (Summer Placement)
KBR's global business comprises two main segments - Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) and Government Solutions (GS). This role sits within STS in the Integrated Solutions business unit. Integrated Solutions is the engineering and project delivery group providing services which include front-end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction services, and program management primarily in the hydrocarbons and energy transition industries.
KBR are looking for a summer intern for around 10 weeks. The role will involve learning skills in your engineering discipline. You will be allocated to a project and work with one of our lead engineers to develop an understanding of the steps that go into the mechanical design. The project phase may be in the early phases of design or in detailed design.
Throughout your time with KBR, you will be working as part of team and interacting with other engineers. You will be on a Bachelors or Masters course in Electrical Engineering . Preference is for skills in python coding.
At the end of the summer placement, a feedback session would be arranged to share what you have learnt. Please note that this role is for up to 40 hours per week with requirements to be in our Leatherhead office.
