In Dordrecht, our Fluoro Elastomers unit produces high-performance materials known for durability, chemical resistance, and thermal stability that enable demanding applications in clean technologies, electronics, mobility, protective coatings, and healthcare.
As a Process Engineer in our Manufacturing Technology team, you are the technical heartbeat of daily operations. You keep the unit running safely, reliably, and efficiently while driving improvements that lift product quality, uptime, and lifecycle cost performance. You'll split time between the control room, the plant, and the data - working closely with operators, maintenance, fellow engineers, and plant leadership.
If you enjoy being close to the process, solving technical puzzles, and making real impact in a complex chemical environment, this is a place where your expertise truly matters.
What Fluoro Elastomers are
Fluoro elastomers are high-performance synthetic rubbers that combine elasticity with exceptional resistance to heat, chemicals, oils, fuels, and weathering. Because they maintain their properties under demanding conditions, they are used in critical sealing and lining applications across mobility, electronics, energy, and industrial processing. Think of O-rings, gaskets, hoses, and linings that must keep performing when exposed to aggressive media or high temperatures. In short, they are the flexible, durable sealing materials that help advanced equipment operate safely and reliably.
Your impact
In this role, you combine process engineering, continuous improvement, and technical leadership to keep our operations running safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities include:
This is a role where you see the direct results of your work: on the line, in the data, and in the long-term performance of the unit.
Emissions reduction and responsible operations

Our new colleague
You enjoy solving complex process puzzles and seeing your work reflected in stable, safe operations. You communicate clearly, switch easily between analysis and fieldwork, and collaborate across functions.
Don't meet every requirement? Please apply anyway. We value potential and diverse perspectives.
What's in it for you
At Chemours, we believe in trust, transparency, and rewarding performance. Your impact will be visible and appreciated.
