Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the field instrument selection for FPSO as part of the Instrument team

• Prepare field instrument philosophy, specifications, datasheets, and Instrument Index

• Prepare Enquiry and Purchase Requisitions with all applicable attachments for field instruments and flow metering packages

• Perform Technical Bid Evaluation of vendor offers and provide recommendations for PO placement

• Handle post-PO activities including vendor drawing review, vendor performance monitoring, and participation in FAT

• Issue construction deliverables such as cable/tubing schedules, block diagrams, termination diagrams, and MTOs as per project schedule

• Manage interfaces within the Instrument team, other engineering disciplines, and departments such as supply chain, quality assurance, construction, and ICSS vendors

• Review instrument deliverables submitted by contractors and vendors with appropriate approval codes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the design of FPSO and Oil & Gas projects

• Experience in FEED and Execution phases of projects

• Yard support, FPSO start-up, and Operations support experience is an advantage

Skills

• Familiarity with relevant international standards and class rules

• Familiarity with smart tools is an advantage

• Proactive and able to work independently with a structured and systematic approach

• Strong communication skills and ability to actively participate in workshops

• Ability to deliver high-quality work on time

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multinational environment

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation

• Fluent in English (oral and written)
