Job Description

Overview

The Junior Mechanical Engineer role involves assisting with the installation, supervision, quality assurance, and coordination of mechanical works such as HVAC, piping, fire-fighting, and related systems. This position is ideal for early-career engineers who are eager to develop hands-on experience in project execution and site engineering.

Your role

• Assist in the execution and supervision of mechanical works at project sites.
• Review drawings, specifications, and method statements under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Perform site inspections and ensure compliance with project standards and UAE authority regulations.
• Support testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve site issues.
• Monitor material deliveries, conduct inspections, and maintain updated site documentation.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and assist in project planning activities.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols at all times.
• Support the preparation of as-built documentation, reports, and handover files.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, construction, or site operations (internships accepted).
• Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, or mechanical equipment installation.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of MEP software is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in site.
