EngineeringWe need skilled Senior instrument Engineer to our clients projects in Bergen, and are looking for candidates with minimum 5 years relevant NCS experience
Job Responsibilities:
• Detailed design of instrumentation tasks.
• Participate in studies.
• Estimate instrumentation tasks.
• Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries.
• Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages).
• Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility.
• Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier.
• Participate in inspections onshore/offshore.
• Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers.
• Perform as-built.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware.
• Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in VEM.
Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
• Strong experience in engineering design.
• Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written.
• Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, Norsok, Equinor TR (Technical Requirements), STID, ProCoSys, ARIS.
• Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore and onshore installations (VEM/M&M).
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation used in the oil industry.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
• Offshore certification.
Required Certifications:
• EX Basic
• Valid FSE - High and Low voltage with practical first aid
• Offshore certificate and health certificate must be valid, and candidates must be willing to take this if necessary.
Duration
• Planned start date: 01/05/2026
• Planned end date: 31/12/2027
Worklocation
• Bergen, 5 days week
Supplier and candidates are expected to openly offer all relevant information about candidates/themselves during the hire-in process. Supplier and candidates may be asked for information on affiliation to high-risk countries for a security assessment.
For candidates who are approved by the client, a third-party background check can/will be performed before start-up.
