Purpose of the position: SeniorElectrical Engineer, part of the Electrical Engineering department, Performing the electrical engineering design activities in accordance with Project requirements, within time schedule and comply with applicable codes, and specifications.

How can you support us?

Tasks include:

1. Analyze and interpret Client's Technical Documentation, standards, and requirements for electrical systems and equipment; to define of electrical engineering requirements.
2. Prepare Project design criteria for electrical system.
3. Develop designs for power generation, power distribution, grounding, lighting, and other associated electrical systems.
4. Perform electrical system calculation and studies (e.g. power demand, load flow, short circuit, transient stability, motor starting) .
5. Prepare relay and metering schemes, protective relays coordination study and setting tables.
6. Define the functional philosophies for the electrical control system (power management, synchronization, and load shedding) and control system architecture.
7. Prepare technical documentation (e.g. specifications, data sheets) for main electrical equipment, including Transformers , Generators , Motors (MV/LV) , Switchgear (HV (230kV) / MV (13.8kV) / LV , MCC, UPS and DC Charger .
8. Develop electrical plant layouts (e.g. cable routing, grounding and lighting) and substations arrangements.
9. Perform power cables sizing calculations.
10. Define typical installation details, bulk materials selection and generate MTOs.
11. Prepare Purchase Requisitions for electrical equipment and materials and evaluate technical offers from vendors, ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications.
12. Review and verify vendor deliverables, including drawings, datasheets, and technical documents to ensure alignment with project, safety, and client requirements.

What are we looking for?

Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

Background:10 Years of Electrical Engineering experience in Engineering office.

Languages: Fluent speaking and writing in English

Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards is an advantage , AutoCAD , MicroStation , ETAP, DIALux .

What else should you know? Some travelling to sites will be expected within Saudi Arabia.
