Mechanical Design Engineer (M/F): What will your duties and responsibilities be?
As a Mechanical Design Engineer (M/F), you will join the design department of an engineering firm composed of engineers and designers, and will work on national and international projects. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing specifications and technical documents
- Drafting requirements matrices and technical notes (functional analyses, FMEA/risk, operating notes, operating/maintenance manuals, etc.)
- Designing technical solutions and producing mechanical dimensioning notes (kinematics, RDM)
- Verifying the mountability, maintainability, and consistency of designs (plans, parts lists, technical documentation)
- Preparing and leading design reviews
- Proposing optimizations through value analyses
- Coordinating technical exchanges with the ECC, assembly/testing departments, as well as with customers and subcontractors
- Supervising a team of designers to carry out studies
What profile and skills are required for this position of Mechanical Design Engineer (M/F) ?
- You have a degree in mechanical engineering.
- You have at least 5 years' experience in a similar position, ideally in the special machinery, mechanical engineering, or metalworking sectors.
- Knowledge of the nuclear industry would be an advantage.
- You are proficient in Solidworks and have at least a basic knowledge of AutoCAD and CATIA.
- You have a professional level of French, both spoken and written
