Where will you work as a Mechanical Design Engineer (M/F) ?

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (M/F) for one of our clients in the nuclear industry manufacturing sector, based in Genas (FR-69).

Mechanical Design Engineer (M/F): What will your duties and responsibilities be?

As a Mechanical Design Engineer (M/F), you will join the design department of an engineering firm composed of engineers and designers, and will work on national and international projects. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing specifications and technical documents
• Drafting requirements matrices and technical notes (functional analyses, FMEA/risk, operating notes, operating/maintenance manuals, etc.)
• Designing technical solutions and producing mechanical dimensioning notes (kinematics, RDM)
• Verifying the mountability, maintainability, and consistency of designs (plans, parts lists, technical documentation)
• Preparing and leading design reviews
• Proposing optimizations through value analyses
• Coordinating technical exchanges with the ECC, assembly/testing departments, as well as with customers and subcontractors
• Supervising a team of designers to carry out studies

What profile and skills are required for this position of Mechanical Design Engineer (M/F) ?

• You have a degree in mechanical engineering.
• You have at least 5 years' experience in a similar position, ideally in the special machinery, mechanical engineering, or metalworking sectors.
• Knowledge of the nuclear industry would be an advantage.
• You are proficient in Solidworks and have at least a basic knowledge of AutoCAD and CATIA.
• You have a professional level of French, both spoken and written
