Job Description

Provide support for all geotechnical design works for tenders and projects

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Geotechnical Engineer in design and evaluation of tender proposal and/or project design
• Analyse geotechnical data and preparation of Geotechnical Interpretative Report (GIR)
• Analyse geotechnical findings, perform appropriate calculation and prepare data reports to Manager
• Plan and conduct geotechnical investigation effectively
• Review construction design proposals and verify geotechnical aspects
• Review geotechnical design developed by third party consultants
• Assist with the design of structure, using specialised software or calculation
• Analyse soil parameters and assess the stability of structures under normal and seismic conditions
• Assist in line superiors for the supervision of site and ground investigation
• Develop design drawing and specifications for construction projects
• Interact with customer and team members to complete the assigned projects on-time
• Ensure correct design as pre QA/QC procedure and standards
• Promote and ensure compliance with organization's Health and Safety Policies

• This is generalist view of a job that you have been assigned for- at times you will be ask to do above /beyond the scope of this role due to Operational requirement

Educational Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Preferably Geotechnical, Geology), or equivalent
  
  Relevant Experience
• Minimum 02 to 05 years' experience of Engineering & Design in related industries
