Job Description

To manage activities, monitor and progress of all production projects within department to ensure they are delivered to the correct specification and within the agreed timescales and budgets.

Objectives

Deliver the following departmental objectives: -

• Plan and monitor departmental workload to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Ensure staff work to the correct standards and procedures
• Develop and encourage team-work and participation
• Develop, encourage and nurture a problem-solving culture within the department
• Maintain standards for Health and Safety within the department
• Take responsibility to ensure that the company's environmental policies are enforced in full
• Provide leadership and direction to staff to achieve departmental goals and personal objectives

Qualifications/Experience

• Ability to coach and develop other members of staff
• Capable of working with customers and staff at all levels
• Ability to motivate others who are not direct reports
• Ability to generate a positive project and team ethos
