ACCIONA is looking to hire a Project Engineer for our customer TenneT, within the ACCIONA Industry division

Mission:

Collaborate and provide support on projects carried out by his/her business unit/department, in keeping with the instructions given by his/her supervisor, so that his/her work will enhance both decision-making processes and processes involving the project's execution.

They are responsible for the drawing up or review of public works projects, industrial and building projects. The projects may be for external clients or for the company itself. In the phase of bid drafting, they draw up the Tender Projects, and in the execution phase they draw up Construction Projects.

Functions:

- Support the Project Manager in all his/her responsibilities, when required by him/her.

- Study the design produced by Staff Engineers and support areas and provide feedback for continuous improvement of processes and workflow.

- Develop analysis and interpretation of data, information and other analysis tools.

- Perform comprehensive technical reports or memos for engineering and Project Management.

- Ongoing collaboration with construction/operations department to improve technical and constructive solutions, monitor progress status of potential engineering subcontractors, deadline control.

- Follow the engineering, procurement, construction and testing & commissioning schedules, check the progresses of their works and control the completion times of the projects and customer responses to meet the established schedule.

- Coordination of the assigned team of specialists.

- Control of the DPP, obtain design approvals in agreement with the Area Coordinators/Site Manager/Project Manager.

- Purchasing management in coordination with the Purchasing Department and Project Manager, technical approval of materials, technical update of the project purchasing plan.

- Site visits, coordination with on-site staff, subcontractors and the customer.

- Review of designs to be submitted to the client and executed ono the site, analysis of the safest proposal and decision making for delivery.

- Communicate to the Project Manager about any design requirement from the client outside of what was presented in the bid and technical specifications submitted during the bidding process.

Requisitos del candidato

Academic Background

Degrees/Certificates/Training: A bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

Languages and Required Level

High level of English.

Knowledge of Dutch and Spanish will be valued.

Additional Knowledge

Experience with High Voltage Electrical Substation projects in the Netherlands is a plus but not mandatory.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools is required.

Willingness to Travel YES (on-site in the Netherlands)
