Wood is executing several projects on behalf of clients active in the Qatar Oil, Gas and Chemical industries. Wood has recently been awarded a project to perform adequacy checks of over 300 relief valves. The Process Engineering department sees this as an opportunity to provide rare and valuable experience in safety related process engineering calculations for a recent graduate.

Typical responsibilities
- Collecting the required input information based on available site technical and operating data.
- Become familiarized with international codes and standards related to relief valve calculations.
- Perform calculations in accordance with established procedures.
- Compiling reference data and attachments.
- Coordinating with other process engineers and teammates from other disciplines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PFD editor software.
- Familiarity with Process simulation software.
- Interest in the energy sector and process engineering design.
