-FULL TIME REMOTE OPPORTUNITY 

●    Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis. Master’s degree in civil/structural engineering is preferred.
●    Professional Engineering License in a US state (TX Preferred) is required.
●    8 or more years or more of experience in Civil Structural Engineering required. Preference with experience in High Voltage Gas-Insulated Substations, Air-Insulated Substations, Static Var Compensators and Fixed Series Capacitor projects for Utility and Industrial customers. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
●    Extensive knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, ASTM standards.
●    Knowledge of discipline specific software such as Staad Pro, SAP 2000, RISA, L-Pile, SAG-10, PLS-CAD/Lite, etc.
●    Working experience with Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM360, Civil 3D, AutoCAD or Micro-Station.
●    Outstanding team skills and good communication skills.
●    Experience with Earthworks analysis, hydrology, SWPPP, grading, stormwater management
●    Experience with cut and fill analysis as well as being able to put together a materials list based on site specific soil conditions.
●    Excellent problem-solving skills.
●    Ability to multi-task from project to project.
●    Read and interpret topography maps, ALTA surveys, and other similar maps to determine project constraints to determine the buildable areas.
●    Perform site visits to conduct structural assessment of existing structures and gather information
●    Analyze project challenges and take appropriate actions to ensure the project meets client expectations and the work is completed within established budget and schedule
●    Develop engineering concepts and coordinate closely with design team
●    Review design drawings and confirm that constructability has been maintained
●    Develop requisitions for construction materials, field work packages, and coordination with vendors and/or equipment manufacturers
●    Coordination of design and engineering efforts being executed in our high value engineering center
●    Coordination and interfacing with other discipline groups in the development of projects
●    Travel domestically to customer meetings and to project sites, as needed (~20%)
