JOB PURPOSE

Manage the Electrical Maintenance activities for the production facilities and distribution network in respective
Areas at the Plant, ensuring technical and operational safety, integrity and reliability of the assets and to
minimize downtime of the facilities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Electrical maintenance management
• Lead and manage the Electrical Maintenance activities of the respective Area to provide cost effective
maintenance.
• Ensure implementation of preventive, predictive, corrective, breakdown and modular shutdown
maintenance programs and modifications for enhanced machine availability and Assets integrity.
• Coordinate and follow-up of major projects, upgrades that are carried out in brown field areas of plant.
• Ensure implementation of defined Codes of practice, Maintenance Policies, Strategies, Procedures and
guidelines while maintaining the electrical facilities in assigned area.
• Ensure seamless integration with the Maintenance Group for effective planning and efficient use of
resources with the use of CMMS - MAXIMO system and SAP.
• Prepare the section's Capital, EOM, MM and Operating budgets, monitor & control the expenditure
against budget.
• Ensure continual improvement by analysis of failures that has substantial impact on plant operations,
identification of bad actors (RCA), planning & implementation of remedial measures and provide
guidance in developing solutions to rectify the problems.
• Ensure development and implementation of Plant Change Requests (PCRs) by participating in site
engineering studies to determine the feasibility of introducing modification to enhance system reliability
and efficiency of plants in the assigned areas.
• Provide inputs to the development of maintenance strategies for the electrical system assets in
conjunction with the Central maintenance group.
• Enforce implementation of AGP Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSE-MS) and
HSEIA relevant to Maintenance activities and also promote awareness of its use among his staff.
Management
• Plan and supervise the activities of the personnel and resources of the team to achieve the Department
objectives in an efficient and cost-conscious manner while ensuring implementation of approved
operational plans for the team in line with Department objectives.
• Develop the knowledge, competencies and innovative spirit in the team and support the establishment
of Personal Development Plans (PDP's), Succession Planning and Talent pipeline within the team in
coordination with the Human Capability Group to continuously develop employees with emphasis on
UAE Nationals to meet Emiratization targets.
Budgets and Operational Plans
• Compile and provide input for preparation of the Department budgets and regularly monitor expenditure
against approved the team budget levels.
• Investigate, highlight and reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost
control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
• Lead the implementation of approved team policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and
internal controls in order to support execution of the Department work programs in line with Company
and International standards.
Performance Management
• Implement the Company Performance Management System for individuals within the team in
accordance with Company approved guidelines and continuously monitor the achievement of the Team
KPIs related to the approved Annual Performance Management Contract and the Balanced Score Card.
Organisation Structure and Development
• Review, develop and recommend the appropriate organisation structure for the Team that will best
utilise human capital while proactively incorporating sustainability into the on-going work practices to
meet the business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Minimum Qualification
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
• 9 years of experience in engineering and maintenance in electrical discipline in oil & gas industry,
including 4 years supervisory role.
• Demonstrate good knowledge in Oil & Gas industry, power plants
• Good Knowledge of engineering principles, design theory, maintenance systems, process
methodology, regulatory standards, energy systems and design.
