The Project Engineer will support the Project Manager in delivering defined work packages on Hinkley Point C, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution in line with nuclear standards. They will support daily site activities, and to help manage interfaces with NNB and other Tier 1 Contractors, and drive progress against schedule, cost, and quality. The role requires strong leadership, disciplined planning, and the ability to proactively resolve issues/concerns etc. in a complex, highly regulated environment. This position is based on site Monday to Friday 40 hours a week

- Support the Project Manager in delivering the project to agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordination of project work packages.
- Monitor progress against the baseline programme, cost, and quality targets, and report variances.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including RAMS, reports, procedures, and commercial correspondence where required.
- Coordinate with off-site teams and subcontractors to ensure timely provision of materials, equipment, and resources.
- Support with construction readiness, including materials, equipment, access, permits, and prerequisites.
- Support with the leading of key meetings with both offsite and on-site project teams to facilitate conversations within the project teams to align and drive key deliverables.
- Support delivery of engineering, fabrication, and installation activities on site in line with project requirements.
- Promote and ensure compliance with all HSE and CDM requirements to support safe project delivery.
- Support the day-to-day delivery of assigned work packages across multiple areas of site.
- Support coordination with subcontractors in line with project scope and monitor performance against time, cost, and quality.
- Support the management of key suppliers.
- Maintain ownership of project progress reporting, including percentage complete, actuals, and approved changes.
- Support the implementation and maintaince of effective project controls for risk management and change control, including maintaining meeting minutes and action tracking.
- Ensure company and project quality management systems are applied effectively, raising concerns where omissions or non-conformances are identified.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Project Manager.
- Complete all required SQEP development in line with site licence conditions.
- Act in succession or deputise when required.
