We're excited to grow our Engineering Team with an Apprentice Electrical Engineer as part of our Professional Development Programme for our 2026 intake. This will be a design office and site-based role across the Severn Trent region.

What Will You Be Doing?

You will report directly to the Regional Electrical (EICA) Discipline Lead and gain hands-on experience from a highly skilled Electrical engineering team working across Water & Wastewater Treatment projects. Throughout the programme, you'll have the opportunity to work on:

• Electrical design
• Installation
• Testing and Commissioning
• Systems Integration
• Site-based engineering activities

Your early years will be spent within the design team with a placement either with a nominated supply chain partner or a site placement working alongside the project delivery team .

You'll work alongside experienced multi-discipline teams across Severn Trent project sites and collaborate with our design teams at our Derby offices.

What will I need to be considered?

• GCSEs for English, Mathematics and Sciences at grade 4 or above.
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Have the ability to travel to the office and sites (some of our sites are difficult to access through public transport) A driving licence would be preferred.
• Flexibility - Successful candidates will need to be flexible and willing to spend time in other offices and sites.
• Great communication skills. (Written and Verbal)
• Self- motivated - attitude is key, it's your career!
