The Opportunity
As Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for executing key elements of our Quality Compliance plans and leading the Quality Management System (QMS) internal audit programme. You will act as both guardian and architect of compliance - ensuring standards are upheld while driving meaningful, sustainable improvement.
You will:
- Lead and maintain the internal audit schedule, including 2nd and 3rd party audits
- Perform and oversee audits to AS9100 standards across internal processes and the supply chain
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, EASA Part 21, EASA Part 145, CAAC, MOD and customer requirements
- Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the QMS
- Lead the production final inspection function
- Drive Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) activities to resolve quality issues and customer complaints
- Lead organisation-wide quality training and capability development
- Implement robust corrective and preventative actions
- Utilise continuous improvement tools and methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce cost
- Partner with senior leadership to deliver tactical and strategic compliance objectives

What You Bring
You are a proven quality professional with significant experience in an engineering or aerospace environment. You understand that compliance is not a tick-box exercise - it is a disciplined, systematic approach to protecting safety, performance and reputation.
You will demonstrate:
- Deep expertise in aerospace quality standards and contractual flow-down requirements
- Lead Auditor qualification to AS9100 (4-day training with exam pass preferred)
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, EASA Part 21, EASA Part 145, CAAC and MOD frameworks
- Extensive understanding of aerospace systems, products and processes
- Experience leading and developing quality teams
- A track record of delivering effective RCCA and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong planning, organisational and execution skills
- The ability to perform in high-pressure environments
- The confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
