Instrumentation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects in the oil and gas industry, focusing on general field instrument engineering, system design, automation, and control engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement fire & gas systems, layout designs, and cable dimensioning
• Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and requisitions
• Create installation job-cards and provide input to other disciplines
• Coordinate with suppliers and clients
• Establish and maintain activity schedules for the instrumentation discipline
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide engineering inputs to work packages
• Perform as-built drawings and red line mark-ups
• Ensure quality and HSSE compliance in projects
• Identify changes and contribute to change requests
• Conduct offshore surveys

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of project experience in instrumentation engineering
• Strong knowledge of relevant design rules, regulations, and standards (including NORSOK)
• Ex basic & Exi basic training courses
• Offshore training (GSK)
• Associate Degree, Vocational school, BSc, or MSc in a relevant field
• Fluency in English and Norwegian

• Excellent communication and proactive attitude
• Leadership qualities and experience in mentoring younger engineers
• Proficiency in project-specific software and Microsoft Office suite
