Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks across commercial properties.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including distribution boards, lighting, and power outlets.
- Support mechanical and fabric maintenance as required, ensuring comprehensive site coverage.
- Conduct inspections and testing in line with statutory requirements and CBRE procedures.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, faults, and emergency situations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Document all work activities, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports to management.
- Participate in energy-saving and optimisation initiatives, contributing to sustainable site operations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and CBRE's best practices at all times.
- Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Proven experience in a similar electrical maintenance role within commercial or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of building services, including HVAC, BMS, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- IT literacy and experience with maintenance management systems.
- Experience with energy management and optimisation projects.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and security systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
