CBRE is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic facilities management team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining and improving building systems. Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks across commercial properties.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including distribution boards, lighting, and power outlets.
  • Support mechanical and fabric maintenance as required, ensuring comprehensive site coverage.
  • Conduct inspections and testing in line with statutory requirements and CBRE procedures.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, faults, and emergency situations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Document all work activities, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Participate in energy-saving and optimisation initiatives, contributing to sustainable site operations.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and CBRE's best practices at all times.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Proven experience in a similar electrical maintenance role within commercial or industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of building services, including HVAC, BMS, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • IT literacy and experience with maintenance management systems.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with energy management and optimisation projects.
  • Knowledge of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and security systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
