Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical design and development of components and systems
• Preparation of technical documentation and design drawings
• Close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and project specifications
• Participation in design reviews and continuous improvement processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience in mechanical design
• Ability to work onsite in Kongsberg at least four days per week
• Eligibility to obtain Norwegian security clearance within approximately three months, in accordance with national regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CATIA (design software) is a strong advantage
• Background from defense, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Structured and detail-oriented approach
