As a Senior Electrical Engineer in R&D, you will take ownership of the electrical infrastructure within highly complex mechatronic systems. This is an architect-level role focused on long-term system vision, compliance, and reliability.

What you'll be doing as a Senior Electrical Engineer:

• Define electrical infrastructure roadmaps for complex systems
• Design power distribution, grounding and interconnection architectures
• Create and review interface diagrams and load calculations
• Safeguard compliance with international electrical safety standards
• Perform feasibility studies, risk assessments and system evaluations
• Coordinate certification and regulatory approval processes
• Guide module interface definitions across multidisciplinary projects
• Improve legacy cabling and interconnect structures with a future-proof vision

What you need to be successful as a Senior Electrical Engineer:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in electrical infrastructure for complex systems
• Strong knowledge of mains and low-voltage power systems
• Expertise in grounding, protection and electrical interconnections
• Experience with electrical safety, interlocks, fusing and EMI mitigation
• Familiarity with CE, UL, CSA, NEN, NFPA, IEC or SEMI S2 standards
• Ability to translate system-level requirements into detailed designs
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
