What will your role be?

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to perform the following activities:

• The candidate will work in team to complete the mechanical design of a new Electro Mechanical Medical Device interfacing directly with the Customer.
• Work in cross-functional teams with New Product Introduction, Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Testing Engineer
• Work within the project team adopting time and cost effective solutions
• Provide high quality technical reports supported by simulations and/or lab tests
• Investigate new technologies and trends with close relationship with vendors
• Participate in design reviews

Qualifiche

What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies

• Educational background within Mechanical Engineering - MSc degree or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience developing Medical Devices or Combination Products on a detailed level.
• Knowledge for dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T is appreciated)
• CREO and/or SolidWorks
• Statistical Tolerance Analysis
• Design for Manufacturing e.g. parts for Injection Molding, High Volume Manufacturing
• Design for Assembly
• Good Documentation and manufacturing Practice
• Design Control and Risk Management
• Design Verification, V&V and Process Validation
• Measurement Strategy and Control Strategy for High Volume Production
• Prototyping and production of test samples

Languages:

• Italian (Fluent)
