Material Supervisor – Suriname 

Location: Paramaribo, Suriname
Contract: Long-term project (3 years)
Rotation: 28/28
Contract: 12 months renewable

We are currently supporting a major deepwater development project in Suriname and are looking for an experienced Material Supervisor to join the Drilling & Wells team on a 28/28 rotational basis. This position will play a key role in managing drilling and wells materials, inventory tracking, and logistics coordination, ensuring full traceability of equipment and materials from receipt through to installation and rig return.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Point of Contact for materials management across drilling & wells contractors
• Track and manage inventory, stock movements, and materials documentation
• Ensure full end-to-end material traceability in SAP (inbound → storage → installation → rig return)
• Support material planning and forecasting for drilling operations
• Coordinate closely with logistics, QA/QC, procurement, and contractor teams
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate material registers
• Manage material master registers and reporting in SAP and Excel

Requirements

• 15 years’ experience in the upstream oil & gas industry
• 6–10 years in a similar materials/logistics supervisory role
• Strong experience using SAP MM (Material Management)
• Background in drilling and wells operations logistics
• Strong Excel and reporting skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• BOSIET HUET and Offshore Medical required
• English mandatory
