EngineeringExciting opportunity to join a mid-sized international E&P company as a Welding Engineering Advisor. This role will provide expertise and high-level advice on small-scale projects in mature shallow-water assets, with a primary focus on maintaining structural and pipeline integrity through high-quality welding solutions and ensuring safe, reliable operations.

The Role:
- Support integrity management by identifying risks and recommending corrective actions to ensure welding activities contribute to safe and reliable asset operations.
- Develop and qualify welding procedures, overseeing fabrication and repair activities in the offshore environment.
- Ensure compliance with applicable international standards (API, ISO).
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for welding non-conformities and failures.
- Review and interpret offshore inspection results, identifying welding degradation, damage, and structural integrity risks in collaboration with operations and inspection teams.
- Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and NDT results.
- Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering (or equivalent professional qualification).
- Minimum of 12 years’ professional experience, preferably including international exposure in a multicultural offshore environment.
- Minimum of 8 years’ leadership experience.
- Strong technical expertise in offshore welding engineering, with practical experience in integrity management and the ability to balance detailed technical analysis with project execution requirements.
- Experience managing all project phases from identify, evaluate and select (IES) through to implementation of technical solutions related to structural and pipeline integrity.
- Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills.
