Great opportunity to work for a reputable international E&P Operating Company, as a Pipeline Engineering Advisor (Subsea), to provide expertise to projects in a mature shallow‑water asset.

The role will act as Technical Authority for Subsea Pipeline Systems, and provide leadership and expert judgement with a primary focus on maintaining subsea pipeline integrity, life extension, ensuring safe and reliable operations.

My client is looking for someone to develop their scope of work for assessment/ inspections of offshore pipelines, and also execute their repair campaigns, so project execution experience is desirable, as well as strong technical expertise in offshore pipeline systems engineering and practical experience with integrity management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years professional experience (preferably including international experience) in working in a multicultural environment in mature offshore environment.
• Management roles:with 8 years of leadership experience
• Demonstrate strong technical expertise in offshore pipeline systems engineering, practical experience with integrity management, and the ability to balance detailed analysis with project execution needs.
• Experienced in managing all phases of a project from identify, evaluate & select throughout to implementation of technical solutions related to pipeline systems and demonstrated continue responsibility implementing standards and procedures in the oil and gas industry.
• Has project management skills, organizational skills and planning skills.
• High level analytical skills. Familiar with root cause analysis for problem resolution techniques is an advantage.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

• Outstanding interaction skills.

The role will be based in Bucharest, Romania on a 3 year fixed term contract with business trips to Constanta and offshore trips as necessary. There is an attractive expat package available for the successful canddiate - including a competitive net salary, housing allowance, company car more.
