Assignment Description

Simulation Expertise:

• Advanced proficiency in UniSim Design for process simulations, steady-state modeling, case studies, and process optimization.
• Ability to build, modify, and validate process simulation models according to project needs.

Technical Competence in Main Process Systems:

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
  
  • Inlet arrangements (e.g., choke valves, inlet coolers/heaters, sand handling)
  • Three-phase separators and separation technology
  • Gas compression systems
  • Pumps and rotating equipment
  • Key instrumentation relevant to process control and safety

Process Equipment and System Design:

• Capable of developing and reviewing process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, control philosophies, and process datasheets.
• Experience with equipment sizing including pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and separators.

Line and Valve Sizing:

• Strong skills in hydraulic calculations and sizing of process lines according to industry standards.
• Experience in valve sizing (control valves, safety valves, and manual valves).

Standards & Tools:

• Familiarity with relevant industry standards (API, ISO, NORSOK, etc.).
• Proficiency with typical engineering tools and documentation systems used in EPC projects.

Personal Attributes:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: BSc of MSc
• Required Work Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience as process engineer
• Required Certificates: NA
