Function Description

As a Chief Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our offshore operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. We're actively building a talent pool for exciting future projects, and your expertise could be exactly what we need!

• Take charge of all vessel machinery, making sure it performs at its best.
• Lead your engineering crew, delegating tasks and upholding top-tier safety standards.
• Plan and oversee essential maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep downtime minimal.
• Keep meticulous records of fuel, equipment, and maintenance activities.
• Guarantee full compliance with all international maritime safety regulations.
• Manage spare parts and consumables, ensuring timely replenishment.

Requirements

To excel as our Chief Engineer, you'll need to demonstrate:

• Valid Certificate of Competency as Chief Engineer
• Experience on offshore vessels such as Cable layers, Pipe layers, Jack Ups, Offshore installation vessels, Flexible fallpipe vessels
• BOSIET or FOET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training)
• STCW certificates relevant to the rank
• Valid National Medical Certificate (MLC) and Offshore Medical Certificate
• High Voltage and DP Maintenance certifications
• GWO 5 Modules certification - considered an advantage
• Permit to work in EU
• UK FWP or USA B1 Visa with wind farm activities annotation (not OCS activities) - considered an advantage
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
