Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.

The work model for the role is: onsite # LI-onsite

This role is contributing to the Machine Automation (AUMC) in South Korea.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
• Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.
• Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.
• Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.

Qualifications for the role

• Experience serving as a technical lead for engineering activities with low engineering complexity.
• Strong understanding of multi‑discipline engineering coordination within project environments.
• Ability to ensure cost‑effective and efficient execution of engineering tasks aligned with contract requirements.
• Solid knowledge of quality standards, safety requirements, and compliance processes.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity policies, standards, and their application in engineering projects.
• Proven capability to manage cross‑functional technical activities within defined scope and timelines.
• Proficiency in Korean and business‑level English communication skills.
