This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will complete the tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting data and supporting production of the engineering design.

This role is contributing to Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic survey work, standard automation engineering, analysis, and basic design tasks.
• Collect data and support engineering design production.
• Exercises judgement on limited details of work and on application of standard methods & prepare relevant documentation
• Supporting communication pertaining to specific assignments in meetings.
• Participate in workshops related to engineering, design, tools and processes.
• Work in graphic / application engineering development in DCS
• Program, implement, test and document process control applications.
• Ability to understand control narratives, P&ID's.

Background /Qualification / Requirements

• 2+ Yrs of experience in automation. Must be a team player, self-motivated, quick learner, adaptable and flexible.
• Bachelor's Degree - Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & communications, Electrical Engineering.
• Willingness to travel & work at sites as and when required.
• Willingness to travel domestic / overseas based on project need.
