This position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design for medium voltage drives, including mechanical parts design, simulation, drawings and materials selection.
• Evaluate change requests and drive mechanical design update and verification.
• Maintain the 3D/2D drawings, BOM and datasheet of mechanical parts.
• Define technical and quality requirement and supplier process assessment.
• Conduct mechanical parts qualification test.
• Mechanical parts 2nd source development and localization.
• Generate production specifications.
• Support production in assembly, packaging and transportation.
• Contribute to drive level test based on GB/IEC/UL standard.

You will be mainly accountable for

• Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
• Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.
• Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor and above in Mechanical engineering, mechatronics integration and other related.
• 3+ years of mechanical design experience in low voltage or medium voltage drives.
• Good knowledge of ProE/Creo and familiar with PLM operation. Experienced in mechanical design, familiar with the process of metal punching and plastic injection, thermal simulation is preferred.
• Good written and spoken communication skills, fluent in English
