The vision in SCE is to provide vital services in ways that ensure choice and control for people, value for money and high-quality care and support. You'll be part of the busy, friendly and supportive SCE Project Management Office team, responsible for leading on change delivery projects across SCE to deliver this vision.
Working closely with the Portfolio Manager, Senior Project Manager, Senior Business Analyst and other officers, you'll lead on a range of key projects following the project life cycle. You'll work in partnership with care providers, NHS and those who draw on care and support.
Although you'll be predominantly working from home, you'll also need the flexibility to work from our office base at Halford House.

What you'll be doing
As a member of the SCE Project Management Office, you'll lead on multiple projects that support service redesign and change. You'll work with other Business Change Commissioning Managers, multiple stakeholders both internally and externally, the voluntary sector, and with those who draw on social care services to deliver complex projects in time and to budget.
Working at a strategic level, you'll write and present reports to senior leaders, chair key meetings, and articulate opportunities for changes within services, negotiating when necessary. You'll provide crucial support to the Senior Project Manager and Business Change Portfolio Manager on key project work and help to shape forward planning.
What you'll need
You'll have a proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects at a senior level. You'll have experience of performance management as well as budget and financial management. With strong communication skills, you'll be able to build effective relationships with all key stakeholders and confidently present to senior leaders. You'll be highly organised, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks to meet objectives and deadlines. You'll be self-motivated, with a flexible approach and commitment to successfully delivering projects, you'll create a professional and positive working environment. You'll be an innovative thinker, able to be creative and to solve problems.
What we can offer you
As well as the satisfaction of helping to improve thousands of lives across Leicester, you can look forward to a work environment that encourages a healthy work/life balance. You'll enjoy generous annual leave, membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme and the option of flexible working.
