EngineeringAs a Process Safety Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and coordinating robust process safety programs that protect people, assets, and the environment. You will analyze process hazards, evaluate safety systems, and ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards, helping to prevent accidents and promote a proactive safety culture. Collaborating closely with operations and project teams, you will guide risk management efforts through advanced methodologies such as Bowtie, PHA, HAZOP, and barrier-based approaches, contributing directly to operational integrity and excellence.

Required Skills
- Expertise in hazards and effects management, including facilitating Bowtie, PHA, HAZOP, and HAZID risk assessments
- Strong knowledge of lifecycle hazard management and inherently safer design principles
- Proficiency in operational risk management and safety performance monitoring
- Experience with Safety and Environmentally Critical Element audits and assurance processes
- Ability to lead incident investigations and learn from operational events to drive continuous safety improvements
- Skilled in coordinating and supporting regulatory and client audits and inspections
- Competence in tracking and managing action items arising from safety assessments
- Exceptional communication and technical advisory capabilities across multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience with Formal Safety Assessment (FSA) processes
- Familiarity with Safety Lifecycle Planning (SLP) and technical safety disciplines beyond process safety
- Knowledge of internal audit delivery in safety or environmental contexts
- Understanding of compliance frameworks in offshore or heavy industrial sectors
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in process safety, technical safety, or a related risk discipline
