We are looking for a Lead Technical Risk & Safety Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: UAE

Contract Duration: Direct Hire

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Good Experience in Facilitating /chairing HAZOP/PHA/LOPA/HAZID/SIL/ ALARP / PHSER workshops - both short and long duration.
• Knowledge of SIMOPS, MOPO, Constructability Review - Desirable.

As Subject Mater Expert Participating in project Risk Assessment Studies HAZOP, HAZID, SIL studies, PHSER and other safety workshops when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform responsibility of a Lead engineer on project/proposal, review contract requirements, plan and organize the project documents delivery.
• Lead the team for Successful Completion of HSEIA Process.
• Review & Interpret P&ID, HMB, Plant layout, operating procedure, Documentation & Drawing.
• Participation in multidiscipline Design projects and workshops.
• Fire-Water Demand Calculations.
• Fire & Gas detection layouts.
• Cause & Effect for fire detection & suppression system.
• Preparation of Safety equipment layout.
• Prepare specification for safety equipment.
• Performing and reviewing Safety case, HSEIA and Design HSE Case.
• Performing and reviewing the FERA, QRA, EERA, ESSA and Performance standards reports.
• Escape, Evacuation, Rescue and Recovery Assessments.
• Perform design reviews/verifications.
• Delivering training and developing training materials for HAZOP/PHA/HAZID/SIL.
• Performing Hazardous Area assessment.
• SIL verification / validation.
• Taking lead role for the project, proposals, managing the clients and other interface meeting required by the client.
• Supporting to Juniors in technical safety studies.
